Join us downtown on FRIDAY NIGHTS this summer

Friday Nights poster

Friends, Family & Fun in Our Historic Town Square! Every Friday Night between Memorial Day and Labor Day from 5-9 pm, Downtown Dayton comes alive as downtown businesses and local vendors host fun events and offer exciting summertime specials. Bring your family and friends for the true local experience in Downtown Dayton! “Like” our Facebook page for updates on events!

All summer long: Shop and dine out at downtown businesses during their extended hours and enjoy their specials, listen to live music in the park, enjoy kids activities and the playground, shop the vendors in the park, and bring your classic or funky vehicle down to Archie’s Cruise In on Fourth Street!

Join us for our Friday Nights Finale on Aug. 29th! We’ll be capping off our first summer of Friday Nights events with a stunning Parade of Light! Bring a lantern you’ve made at home, simple or elaborate. Let your creativity flow!  We ask that you use battery powered LED lights or tea lights. (Please, no open flames.) We’ll have a lantern craft table from 5-7 pm on the 29th. The parade starts at 8:30 p.m. at the playground in the park.

DIY Lanterns: Check out the following links for easy, step-by-step instructions.

Do you own a downtown business? Friday Nights is a great way to promote your business! Not only does Friday Nights bring more people to your door, but it gives you the chance to make them repeat customers by showcasing your business.

Do you own a business outside of the downtown core? Maybe you run a business out of your home? Never fear! You can still host a booth, hold a kids activity, partner with a downtown business, or sponsor a Friday Nights event to get some valuable exposure at the event.

Do you belong to a local organization? You can host a booth or children’s activity in the park during the event and spread the word about your group and its activities!
