The Dayton Community Development Association (DCDA), like many other nonprofit organizations in our community, depend on sponsorships and donations from businesses and friends like you to carry out a large part of its mission. The DCDA is a volunteer led, volunteer driven 501(c)(3) that works to revitalize Dayton’s downtown and is a participating member in the Oregon Main Street program.
The DCDA plans and executes several events in Dayton throughout the year, our most attended being the Dayton Friday Night Concert series. This event was named “2014 Best New Event Series” by the Oregon Main Street Program, and enjoys 300-500 visitors each night, with over 555 volunteer hours contributed by community members. This family-friendly party during the Summer months is designed to draw hundreds of people to our downtown square on Friday evenings to socialize, shop, eat, play, and support our local businesses. Each night includes cruise ins, musical performances, and vendors in the downtown park.
There are many ways your organization will benefit as a sponsor of the DCDA and Dayton Friday Nights.
Identification & Exposure
Create identification with a major community attraction which draws from 300-500 visitors to the downtown streets of Dayton every Friday night throughout the Summer months.
Perform a lasting and important community service
Dayton Friday Night sponsors help promote healthy, positive family activities that are available to all citizens regardless of age, status or income.
The event series is becoming a valuable economic asset to Downtown Dayton by drawing customers to local stores, restaurants, and vendors in the park.
Sponsors are encouraged to play an active role in the Festival
The Dayton Friday Night experience offers sponsors team building and volunteer opportunities, with the option to test market, demonstrate, or sample your product. It’s also an excellent venue to develop new business relationships and expand current contacts.
